Abstract

Se describe un aparato para recuperar partículas minerales de interés de una suspensión en un proceso de extracción de mineral, que caracteriza un núcleo o substrato; y múltiples capas acomodadas sobre el núcleo o substrato, cada capa de las múltiples capas está configurada con una superficie externa respectiva que tiene una pluralidad de moléculas adheridas a la misma, las moléculas comprenden un grupo funcional seleccionado para atraer y adherir una o más partículas minerales de interés a las moléculas. Cada capa es elaborada de un polímero que tiene un espesor menor que o igual a aproximadamente 125 micrómetros. El polímero se selecciona de un grupo que consiste de polidimetilsiloxano o dimetilsiloxano.
