Abstract
Un método para determinar la posición giratoria de un rodillo industrial incluye: (a) proporcionar un rodillo industrial giratorio que tiene un eje longitudinal, el rodillo industrial tiene un acelerómetro montado en un extremo del mismo, el rodillo industrial además incluye una pluralidad de sensores; (b) determinar una posición angular previa al accionamiento del rodillo con base en un primer vector de gravedad provisto por el acelerómetro; después (c) determinar una posición angular de accionamiento del rodillo con base en un segundo vector de gravedad provisto por el acelerómetro, la magnitud del segundo vector de gravedad difiere de la magnitud del primer vector de gravedad en más que la magnitud de una señal de ruido convencional; y (d) recolectar datos de los sensores después de que el rodillo ha pasado la posición angular de accionamiento; y (e) corresponder los datos recolectados en el paso (d) con un sensor respectivo de la pluralidad de sensores con base en la determinación de la posición angular de accionamiento.
