Abstract
Se divulgan sistemas y métodos para la comunicación grupal vehicular mediante una red de comunicación dedicada de corto alcance (DSRC). Un vehículo divulgado a modo de ejemplo incluye un controlador de DSRC configurado para comunicarse con una red de DSRC. El vehículo a modo de ejemplo también incluye un procesador habilitado para ejecutar instrucciones que hacen que el vehículo (a) se una a una sesión de comunicación grupal hospedada por la red de DSRC, (b) envíe mensajes de estado a otros vehículos conectados a la sesión de comunicación grupal, e (c) informe a un conductor sobre la información del tráfico en función de los mensajes de estado recibidos de los otros vehículos.
