Abstract
Se proporcionan un método y aparato de codificación de video que tienen escalabilidad temporal, y un método y aparato de decodificación de video que tienen escalabilidad temporal. El método de codificación de video incluye: dividir imágenes incluidas en una secuencia de imágenes en subcapas temporales; clasificar una imagen de acceso de capa temporal como una primera imagen de acceso de capa temporal o una segunda imagen de acceso de capa temporal en base en si una imagen, la cual es codificada después de la imagen de acceso de capa temporal y que pertenece a una subcapa temporal igual o superior que, o diferente de la imagen de acceso de capa temporal, es capaz de hacer referencia a una imagen codificada antes de la imagen de acceso de capa temporal; y agregar información de sintaxis de tipo para identificar la primera imagen de acceso de capa temporal y la segunda imagen de acceso de capa temporal a datos de unidad de transmisión que incluyen la imagen.
