Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes con el cual puede realizarse procesamiento de descodificación en un momento correcto. Una unidad de establecimiento de tipo de HRD, determina, en base a una instrucción de usuario, un tipo de parámetro de HRD, es decir, parámetros para gestionar una memoria intermedia del descodificador, y adquiere, desde una memoria intermedia de almacenamiento y una memoria intermedia de almacenamiento (de nivel subordinado) de un codificador de imágenes de capa base, información que indica un estado de almacenamiento, de acuerdo con el tipo de parámetro de HRD determinado. La unidad de establecimiento de tipo HRD calcula los parámetros de HRD en base a la información adquirida, y provoca que los parámetros indicadores de HRD que indican el tipo de parámetro de HRD se codifiquen en un codificador reversible. La presente invención se aplica a dispositivos de procesamiento de imágenes.
