Abstract

En la presente se proporciona un composición de recubrimiento de hilo dental que comprende uno o más polímeros de polietilenglicol y una fuente de peróxido, donde la temperatura de fusión de uno o más polímeros de polietilenglicol, en combinación, es de 38 °C a 50 °C, y donde uno o más polímeros de polietilenglicol están presentes en la composición en una cantidad de .80 % en peso a 97 % en peso, en función del peso total de la composición. La composición puede usarse en forma fundida para recubrir el hilo dental mientras se mantiene la estabilidad de la fuente de peróxido.
