Abstract
[80] Algunas modalidades de la presente descripción están dirigidas a métodos, sistemas y dispositivos de sonda para detectar actividad EMG. En algunas modalidades, estos métodos, sistemas y dispositivos se utilizan en la ayuda para el diagnóstico de apnea obstructiva del sueño (OSA). En algunas modalidades, se proporciona una sonda y comprende un miembro alargado configurado con un tamaño y forma para colocación adyacente a al menos uno del paladar blando y la pared faríngea del paciente después de la inserción de la sonda en el paciente. La sonda también puede incluir al menos un sensor configurado para detectar al menos actividad EMG de capas musculares de al menos una del paladar blando y la pared faríngea y producir señales de sensor que corresponden a la misma.
