Abstract

Un nodo de red de radio, RNN, (106) y un método en el mismo para el equilibrio de carga en una red de comunicaciones inalámbricas (100). El RNN está configurado para comunicarse con un dispositivo inalámbrico (108) que soporta tanto la cobertura normal como la cobertura extendida. El RNN y el dispositivo inalámbrico están operando en la red de comunicaciones inalámbricas. El RNN determina una indicación que informa al dispositivo inalámbrico que, cuando tiene cobertura normal, debe monitorear uno de un recurso tradicional de enlace descendente y un recurso de cobertura extendida para información y/o debe utilizar uno de un recurso tradicional de enlace ascendente y un recurso de cobertura extendida al acceder a la red de comunicaciones inalámbricas. Además, el RNN transmite la indicación al dispositivo inalámbrico.
