Abstract
Un dispositivo para controlar la alimentación de la carga metálica (35) en un horno de arco eléctrico (11) que comprende una cinta transportadora (15) asociada al extremo de una boca de alimentación (14) provista en dicho horno de arco eléctrico (11) y, en cooperación con la cinta transportadora (15), por lo menos un sistema para detectar el perfil punto por punto de la carga metálica (35) presente en la cinta transportadora (15).
