Abstract

Un proceso para separar un gas hidrocarburo en una fracción que contiene una porción predominante del metano o etano y componentes más ligeros y una fracción que contiene una porción predominante de los componentes de C2 y C3 y más pesados en los cuales se trata el gas de alimentación en uno o más pasos de intercambio de calor y expansión; el gas de alimentación parcialmente condensado se dirige dentro de un separador en donde un primer vapor residual se separa de un líquido que contiene C2 o CS; y líquidos que contienen C2 o C3 sustancialmente a la presión de separación y se dirigen en una columna de destilación en donde el líquido se separa en un segundo residuo para recuperar un producto que contiene C2 o C3. Una porción del vapor y/o una porción del líquido de la primera separación de vapor/líquido de hidrocarburos además se enfría e introduce en una columna de fraccionación para incrementar los hidrocarburos de C2 o C3 y más pesados que se recuperan del flujo de gas natural.
