Abstract
Un codificador para codificar una señal de audio en un flujo de datos que comprende un predictor, un factorizador, un transformador y una etapa de cuantización y codificación. El predictor está configurado para analizar la señal de audio para obtener coeficientes de predicción que describan un análogo espectral de la señal de audio o una frecuencia fundamental de la señal de audio y someter la señal de audio a una función de filtro de análisis dependiente de los coeficientes de predicción para producir una señal residual de la señal de audio.
