Abstract
Se describen un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes que posibilitan realizar la cuantificación o la cuantificación inversa que es más adecuada para el contenido de las imágenes. Una unidad (202) de decodificación reversible decodifica los datos de encriptación que se leen a partir de un búfer (201) de almacenamiento en un tiempo predeterminado. Una unidad (221) de cuantificación inversa del sub macrobloque utiliza parámetros de cuantificación suministrados a partir de una unidad (203) de cuantificación inversa para obtener un valor de cuantificación para cada sub macrobloque, y regresa dichos valores de cuantificación a la unidad (203) de cuantificación inversa. La unidad (203) de cuantificación inversa utiliza los valores de cuantificación para cada sub macrobloque suministrados a partir de la unidad (221) de cuantificación inversa del sub macrobloque para cuantificar inversamente los coeficientes de cuantificación obtenidos mediante la decodificación realizada por la unidad (202) de decodificación reversible. Esta tecnología se puede aplicar, por ejemplo, a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes.
