En la descripción se proporciona un método y dispositivo para visualizar un objeto destino. El método puede comprender: detectar un evento táctil multipunto para el objeto destino; determinar si el evento táctil multipunto detectado es un primer evento táctil multipunto que se predetermina, en donde el primer evento táctil multipunto se utiliza para activar la conmutación del objeto destino a un modo de visualización privada; si el evento táctil multipunto detectado es el primer evento táctil multipunto, conmutar el objeto destino al modo de visualización privada, de modo que sólo se visualice el objeto destino en el modo de visualización privada.
