Abstract
Un método para implementar una alineación de símbolo ascendente dentro de un componente de red, el método que comprende recibir una señal de sincronización ascendente a través de una línea de suscriptor digital (DSL) de inicialización durante una fase de descubrimiento del canal de un equipo de premisa de cliente (CPE), determinar un valor de alineación de símbolo ascendente corregido basado en la señal de sincronización ascendente, y transmitir el valor de alineación de símbolo ascendente corregido al CPE, en donde el valor de alineación de símbolo ascendente determina una alineación de símbolo ascendente para uno o más transmisiones ascendentes, y en donde el valor de alineación de símbolo ascendente corregido se determina antes de recibir una pluralidad de señales de datos ascendentes dentro de las posiciones de símbolo de datos durante la fase de descubrimiento de canal.
