Abstract

Un método para descodificar una señal de video de multicapa, de acuerdo con la presente invención, determina si una imagen correspondiente en una capa inferior se utiliza como imagen de referencia de capa intermedia para una imagen actual en una capa superior, en función de un identificador de nivel de tiempo de la capa inferior, y realiza de manera restrictiva la predicción de capa intermedia para la imagen actual en función de un indicador de alineación de límite de mosaico que indica si la alineación de mosaico se realiza entre la capa superior y la capa inferior si la imagen correspondiente en la capa inferior se utiliza como la imagen de referencia de capa intermedia para la imagen actual en la capa superior.
