Abstract

Se proporciona un método para incrementar la complejidad de la fractura en la zona de tratamiento de una formación subterránea. La formación subterránea se caracteriza por tener una permeabilidad de la matriz menor que 1.0 microDarcy (9.869233 x 10-19 m2). El método incluye la etapa de bombear uno o más fluidos de fracturamiento en una región de campo lejano de una zona de tratamiento de la formación subterránea en una velocidad y presión por arriba de la presión de fractura de la zona de tratamiento. Un primer fluido de fracturamiento del uno o más fluidos de fracturamiento incluye un primer material particulado sólido, en donde (a) el primer material particulado solido incluye una distribución de tamaño de partícula para cerrar las gargantas de poro de un paquete de sustentante formado previamente o que se va a formar en la zona de tratamiento; y (b) el primer material particulado sólido comprende un material degradable En una modalidad, el primer material particulado sólido está en una cantidad insuficiente en el primer fluido de fracturamiento para incrementar la fracción de volumen empacada de cualquier región del paquete de sustentante a mayor que 73%.
