Abstract

De acuerdo con un aspecto de la presente descripción, se da a conocer un método para aplicar un sello en frío cohesivo para el embalaje de productos, el método incluye los pasos que consisten en suministrar un adhesivo de sello en frío a una cuchilla limpiadora con cámaras dispuesta adyacente a un cilindro de transferencia giratorio, transferir una cantidad de adhesivo a una superficie de transferencia, hacer girar el cilindro transportador para que haga contacto con una matriz de impresión montada a un cilindro de matriz giratorio de tal manera que por lo menos una porción de la cantidad de adhesivo sea transferida a la matriz de impresión, alimentar un alojamiento entre el cilindro de matriz y un cilindro de impresión giratorio adyacente, hacer girar el cilindro de matriz de tal manera que la matriz de impresión haga contacto con el alojamiento y transfiera una porción de la cantidad de adhesivo de la matriz de impresión al alojamiento y secar el adhesivo sobre el alojamiento, donde el adhesivo es un adhesivo no pegajoso basado en látex, con una viscosidad no mayor que 450 centipoises.
