Abstract
The invention refers to a process for manufacturing cellular concrete from regional materials, which enables the user to create a mixture by chemical methods that will adopt the predetermined shape of the mold, which has the characteristic of reducing the heat and noise transmission and protecting the same from external elements, thus creating more comfortable constructions, using a regional product such as marble, which, attacked by a specific treatment with sodium thiosulfate, acquires a quartz sand behavior in the process, which is used for providing thermal and porous characteristics that result in a light product; the use of normal materials, like cement, gypsum, limestone, limestone sand and aluminum sulfate as a catalyst in the composition of the invention provides a concrete.
