Abstract
Se trata de un nuevo sistema analizador de sonidos generado en molinos, que capta señales emitidas por la cascada de mineral y bolas de acero que efectúan la molienda. Dichas señales son procesadas en un sistema embebido (2) formado por un arreglo de compuertas de campos programables (FPGA) y un procesador. El sistema se compone de un arreglo de micrófonos industriales (1) que captan las señales de sonido que son convertidas de analógico-digital mediante un sistema de adquisición (3) especializado en señales de sonido, procesadas por un FPGA capaz de realizar operaciones en paralelo a una gran velocidad debido al desarrollo de hardware personalizado para esta aplicación y enviadas al procesador por medio de un bus de datos de alta velocidad.
