Abstract
Se propone un método para timonear un buque sísmico asociado con una línea de navegación y una línea pregraficada actual, el buque sísmico remolca por lo menos una antena lineal acústica que comprende receptores, los receptores reciben señales generadas por al menos una fuente y reflejadas por las capas de subsuperficie en una pluralidad de puntos de reflexión. El método comprende: a) calcular distancias di,i ? {1...n} de n puntos de reflexión, incluidos en la pluralidad de puntos de reflexión, a un límite de una zona de cobertura de agrupamiento ya obtenida asociada con una línea pregraficada anterior ya utilizada; b) calcular una distancia D, de los n puntos de reflexión a los n puntos de reflexión objetivo, en función de las distancias di y c) proporcionar información de timoneo, que comprende o se basa en la distancia D, a un sistema de navegación o a un operador de un sistema de navegación, para alterar el curso del buque sísmico.
