Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema y aparato para remover hidrocarburos pesados de una corriente de solvente. El aparato extrae hidrocarburos pesados en hidrocarburos ligeros y proporciona una corriente de solvente que tiene los hidrocarburos pesados removidos. Se usan dos etapas de lavado con agua para remover solvente residual de la solución de hidrocarburo pesado en hidrocarburos ligeros. En algunas modalidades, el segundo lavado con agua se usa para procesamiento subsecuente de lotes de la corriente de solvente. Los hidrocarburos pesados y solventes pueden ser recuperados y procesados adicionalmente. También se describen en la presente métodos para remover hidrocarburos pesados de una corriente de solvente.
