Abstract

Las modalidades del presente documento se refieren a un método para controlar potencia de transmisión de una terminal móvil. El método es realizado por una terminal móvil (10) en una conectividad dual en donde la terminal móvil (10) está configurada para soportar dos o más enlaces contemporáneos, incluyendo un primer enlace y un segundo enlace, con dos o más puntos de acceso a la red inalámbricos (12, 13). La terminal móvil (10) calcula independientemente un nivel de potencia de transmisión de enlace ascendente no escalado respectivo para cada enlace, con base en un valor específico de enlace correspondiente. La terminal móvil (10) calcula un factor de escalación respectivo para cada enlace con base en una restricción de potencia total y uno o más de los siguientes: asignación de recurso de enlace ascendente a cada enlace, de tal manera que el factor de escalación para el primer enlace que tiene asignados más recursos que el segundo enlace es mayor que el factor de escalación para el segundo enlace, calidad de enlace para cada enlace, de tal manera que el factor de escalación para el primer enlace que tiene una mejor calidad de enlace que el segundo enlace es mayor que el factor de escalación para el segundo enlace, estado de memoria intermedia de enlace ascendente para cada enlace, de tal manera que el factor de escalación para el primer enlace que tiene más datos de enlace ascendente por enviar que el segundo enlace es mayor que el factor de escalación para el segundo enlace, y prioridad para cada enlace, de tal manera que el factor de escalación para el primer enlace que tiene una prioridad más alta que el segundo enlace es mayor que el factor de escalación para el segundo enlace. La terminal móvil (10) además aplica el factor de escalación respectivo a cada nivel de potencia de transmisión de enlace ascendente no escalado respectivo, para obtener niveles de potencia escalados correspondientes. La terminal móvil (10) transmite además en los dos o más enlaces contemporáneos a niveles de potencia escalados respectivos.
