Abstract

Un método para determinar el espaciamiento de fractura para un primer conjunto de fracturas de un pozo. Una primera dimensión de fractura se escoge de la más pequeña de la longitud o la altura de una primera fractura y una segunda dimensión de fractura esperada se escoge de la más pequeña de la longitud esperada o la altura esperada de una segunda fractura que se va a formar. Se determina una posición aproximada de la segunda fractura a partir de un porcentaje del promedio de la primera dimensión de fractura y la segunda dimensión de fractura. Se determina una posición aproximada de una tercera fractura de tal forma que la relación de las distancias de la primera fractura y la segunda fractura son aproximadamente iguales a una relación de la primera dimensión de fractura y la segunda dimensión de fractura. El pozo se puede entonces fracturar en la posición aproximada de la segunda fractura y se puede fracturar en la posición aproximada de la tercera fractura.
