Abstract
Se describe un proceso de reacción en fibra con el cual los componentes reactivos contenidos en flujos inmiscibles se ponen en contacto para efectuar reacciones químicas y separaciones. El reactor de conducto (10) utilizado contiene fibras humectables (12) en las cuales un flujo (14) queda sustancialmente confinado y un segundo flujo (20) se hace fluir sobre el mismo para crear continuamente una nueva interfase entre los mismos para producir en forma eficiente el contacto de las especies reactivas y de esta manera promover reacciones de las mismas o extracciones. Se pueden utilizar co-solventes y catalizadores de transferencia de fase para facilitar el proceso.
