Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un cable calefactor para una tubería de extracción de hidrocarburos, el cable calefactor comprende: por lo menos un ducto termoconductor metálico adaptado para ser acoplado con la tubería de extracción de hidrocarburo; el cable calefactor está adaptado para pasar a través de por lo menos un ducto termoconductor metálico, el cable calefactor tiene un cuerpo flexible que incluye: una pluralidad de conductores; una capa aislante que envuelve los conductores; una banda metálica enrollada alrededor de la capa aislante en un enrollamiento helicoidal y que forma espiras sucesivas sobre dicha capa aislante; una chaqueta fluoropolimérica que rodea la banda metálica; una cubierta de blindaje exterior que rodea la chaqueta fluoropolimérica en un enrollamiento helicoidal; y en donde las espiras sucesivas de la banda metálica se traslapan entre sí en por lo menos el 10% y el 90% del ancho de la banda metálica.
