Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un método y un aparato para transmitir-recibir una señal, el método es compatible con un modo de profundidad de 8 bits basado en HD existente mientras que soporta un modo de profundidad de 10 bits basado en UHD, y comprende: multiplexión o multiplexión inversa de datos de video que pueden desplegarse dentro de la gama de color de cualquiera de una profundidad de bits de entre una pluralidad de profundidades de bits, e información de señalización con respecto al despliegue de manera que el despliegue se encuentra dentro de la gama de color de cualquier profundidad de bits de entre la pluralidad de profundidades de bits; y procesar los datos de video multiplexados o multiplexados inversamente e información de señalización.
