Abstract
La presente invención se refiere un proceso para desalinización de agua de mar y a un diseño y construcción de un filtro centrífugo para desalinización de agua,. El proceso utiliza como un componente fundamental el filtro desarrollado que se basa en la tecnología de ósmosis inversa, utiliza módulos de membranas de fibra hueca dispuestas en forma helicoidal alrededor de un tubo de soporte central y distribuidas en anillos concéntricos en la periferia de la sección giratoria para favorecer la formación de vórtices de Dean. En donde la membrana está construida con una estructura de poliamida aromática como primera capa, seguida de una capa de poliéster sulfona y una capa de soporte de poliéster; aplicando el material kevlar 49 en la posición 1 y 4 en la cadena aromática para incrementar la estructura y resistencia de la membrana.
