Abstract

With the shaft component 2 being rotated, each ultrasonic thickness measuring device 2 measures wall thickness at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction. With respect to the measurement data obtained by each of the ultrasonic thickness measuring devices 2, the pass/fail determination is performed of the concentricity by comparing the difference in wall thickness at two positions different by 180 degrees with a threshold value to thereby achieve a further improvement in determination accuracy in concentricity.
