Abstract
En la presente invención, se codifican/descodifican al menos dos señales componentes que representan la luminancia y una diferencia de color en una señal original que tiene un formato de imagen predeterminado; este dispositivo (10) de codificación se equipa con: una sección (17-1, 17-2, 18-1, 18-2, 23-1, 23-2) de decodificación local que genera una señal localmente decodificada de una segunda señal componente; una unidad (4) de predicción de luminancia-diferencia de color que genera un parámetro para normalizar la segunda señal componente comparando la señal original de una primera señal componente todavía no codificada con la señal localmente decodificada de la segunda señal componente a fin de generar una señal de predicción de luminancia-diferencia de color; una unidad (22-1) de generación de señal de predicción que genera una señal de predicción para una predicción intra-pantalla o una señal de predicción para una predicción inter-plantalla con respecto a la primera señal componente; una unidad (2) de síntesis que realiza una adición ponderada de la señal de predicción y la señal de predicción de luminancia-diferencia de color a fin de generar una señal de predicción corregida para la primera señal componente; y una sección (13-1, 14-1, 15-1, 16-1) de codificación que genera y codifica una señal de diferencia entre la señal de predicción corregida y la señal original de la primera señal componente.
