Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una máquina mejorada para la fabricación de fibras sintéticas, que comprende una unidad perfiladora de banda que comprende dos rodillos contrarrotativos; medios para efectuar contacto de presión entre una banda móvil o masa similar a hoja de polímero y el rodillo o rodillos perfiladores; medios para estirar una banda perfilada o masa similar a hoja, desde la unidad perfiladora; y medios para someter una banda estirada a un tratamiento de fibrilación; caracterizada en que por lo menos uno de los rodillos se proporciona con una pluralidad de rebordes de superficie estrechamente separados y paralelos, que tienen, cada uno, lados dirigidos hacia adentro que conducen a un pico y los lados de los rebordes adyacentes forman artesas, y en que ambos rodillos tienen superficies no deformables.
