Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición catalítica mejorada para la oxidación de alquenos de modo de obtener aldehidos insaturados y ácidos carboxílicos, que corresponde a la fórmula: (VER FIGURA), (en la cual a y b son un número de 2 a 20; c es un número de 0,1 a 7; d es un número de 0,1 a 4; e es un número de 0,1 a 2; f es un número de 12 aproximadamente, y g es un número de 35 a 85), y además se hallan contenidos de 0,2 a 5,0 por ciento y de preferencia, de 0,5 a 2,0 por ciento de samario o tántalo, calculados como Sm2O3 o, en su caso, como Ta2O5, con una substancia portadora consistente en silicato de reticulación estratificada y dióxido de silicio de alta dispersión.
