Abstract

Un aparato y un método para transferir una muestra de fluido desde un aparato de extracción de muestras de fluido a un analizador de muestras líquidas. El aparato incluye un barril que tiene un primer extremo, un segundo extremo, una pared lateral que se extiende entre el primer extremo y el segundo extremo, una superficie interior que define una cámara interna y una superficie exterior que define al menos una parte de una cámara de ensayo cromatográfico en comunicación fluida con la cámara interna. El primer extremo tiene una abertura de entrada con un captador de coágulos que se extiende a través de la abertura de entrada aguas arriba del paso y el segundo extremo tiene una abertura de salida. En la cámara de ensayo cromatográfico se aloja un conjunto de ensayo cromatográfico para detectar la presencia de hemoglobina libre en la muestra de fluido.
