Abstract
En una implementación, cuando se codifica un bloque en el modo de intrapredicción, el bloque puede dividirse en dos subparticiones mediante una línea recta ubicada geométricamente. Cada partición geométrica dentro de la CU está intraprevista usando su propio intramodo con su muestra de referencia disponible. Una subpartición copia y usa el modo de intrapredicción del bloque original, y otra subpartición usa otro modo de intrapredicción señalizado implícito o explícito. Después de predecir la partición geométrica, los valores de la muestra a lo largo del límite divisorio se ajustan usando un proceso de mezcla con pesos adaptativos. La intrapredicción basada en partición geométrica podría aplicarse para un modo de intrapredicción angular, o solo para un modo de intrapredicción direccional negativo, o solo para un modo de intrapredicción específico (p. ej., modo 34). La selección de transformación u otras herramientas intracodificantes (es decir, intrasubpartición) pueden adaptarse para la intrapredicción basada en partición geométrica.
