Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a procesos para recuperar productos valiosos de fracciones de plantas de la familia Fabaceae, en particular de Medicago sativa ssp. Los procesos descritos aquí incluyen procesos para obtener macrofibras, microfibras, un precursor de saponina, composiciones líquidas y secas de cloroplasto y un precursor de Rubisco. También se describen aquí procesos para extraer de plantas de la familia Fabaceae compuestos valiosos tales como proteínas, enzimas, péptidos, aminoácidos, ácidos grasos, alcoholes grasos, terpenos, fenoles y pigmentos. Los procesos pueden comprender al menos uno de separación de fibras de plantas mientras se atenúan las fuerzas de corte, se mantiene la temperatura a 45°C o menos, se mantiene el pH por encima de 4 y se agregan antioxidantes y/o agentes antimicrobianos.
