Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema inteligente de monitorización del crecimiento y la salud en la acuicultura y un método para monitorizar el crecimiento y la salud de una especie acuática presente en un hábitat de crecimiento en la acuicultura. El sistema comprende una baliza de localización georreferenciada del hábitat de crecimiento, un recipiente de muestras para muestrear agua y especies acuáticas del hábitat de crecimiento y está configurado para permitir que un dispositivo electrónico adquiera datos visuales digitales sobre dicha muestra, un procesador operable para recibir los datos visuales digitales; determinar, basándose en los datos visuales digitales, parámetros de crecimiento y/o salud de la especie acuática en la muestra; retransmitir datos sobre los parámetros de crecimiento y/o salud de la especie acuática de regreso al dispositivo electrónico; proporcionar datos de trazabilidad de la especie acuática y retransmitir informes de trazabilidad sobre la procedencia y las condiciones de acuicultura y la fuente de alimentación en el hábitat de crecimiento y para cosechas de especies acuáticas específicas.
