Abstract
Se describen sistemas y métodos para perfilar sustratos de metal. Los sustratos de metal se someten a calentamiento por inducción durante el proceso de perfilado por exposición a campos magnéticos que varían con el tiempo, como por exposición a un imán permanente giratorio o exposición a la radiación láser de una fuente de láser. El calentamiento de los sustratos de metal permite mejorar la formabilidad o plasticidad del sustrato para reducir o eliminar el daño al sustrato durante perfilado a relaciones bajas del radio de doblez al espesor. El calentamiento de alta resistencia de los sustratos de metal también puede ser función de templado de los sustratos y/o mejorar la resistencia a la corrosión superficial y formar productos finales de alta resistencia con propiedades deseables.
