Abstract

Un aparato de neuromodulación y un método para usar el mismo; el aparato de neuromodulación tiene una pluralidad de electrodos activos aislados eléctricamente entre sí y dispuestos en al menos una matriz de electrodos, al menos un electrodo de referencia, un generador de pulsos conectado eléctricamente a cada electrodo activo de la pluralidad de electrodos activos y configurado para transmitir pulsos eléctricos de forma selectiva a cada uno de la pluralidad de electrodos activos y una unidad de control acoplada al generador de pulsos eléctricos y adaptada para medir una resistencia y/o una característica de corriente-voltaje entre cada electrodo activo de la pluralidad de electrodos activos y el al menos un electrodo de referencia.
