Abstract

Un método para facilitar el control en tiempo real de las condiciones dentro de un vial durante un procedimiento de liofilización que ocurre dentro de una cámara de liofilización incluye, para cada uno de una pluralidad de intervalos de tiempo durante el procedimiento de liofilización, determinar los valores actuales de temperatura y presión dentro de la cámara de liofilización y, después de cada intervalo de tiempo, determinar los valores actuales de una o más condiciones dentro del vial. La determinación de los valores actuales de la(s) condición(es) dentro del vial incluye aplicar esos valores actuales como entradas a un modelo de balance de transferencia de calor y masa y resolver un valor actual de una temperatura dentro del vial (y posiblemente el agua removida o remanente dentro del producto). El método también incluye hacer que un dispositivo de visualización muestre los valores actuales de las condiciones dentro del vial a un usuario y/o controlar la temperatura y/o la presión dentro de la cámara de liofilización en función de los valores actuales de la(s) condición(es) dentro del vial.
