Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una plataforma de sobrecarga para descontaminar de manera segura y confiable superficies de microorganismos (incluyendo virus, bacterias, mohos y similares). Tal plataforma utiliza un intervalo específico de radiación UV baja dentro de las longitudes de onda UV-C (de 240-300 nm) generadas por diodos emisores de luz UV (LED) individuales activados y/o operados por contacto y/o presencia detectada de un usuario. En tal configuración, se puede proporcionar un número de diferentes dispositivos de contacto con la superficie que de acuerdo con el nivel deseado de descontaminación de microorganismos básicamente a demanda. Tales dispositivos, particularmente si están presentes como guantes usados, telas de limpieza, y/u otras estructuras similares para llevarse puesto/manipuladas (cubiertas de calzado externas, ropa para cabeza, ropa, implementos de barrido de piso, por ejemplo) proporcionan resultados de limpieza pasivos cuando se usan y hacen contacto con diferentes superficies así como un potencial de auto-descontaminación constante cuando está en uso. Otros dispositivos, tales como estructuras en contacto (tabletas, mantas, materiales de construcción, etc.) generan limpieza cuando se ponen en contacto también.
