Description
PORTABLE SMART DISINFECTION BOX WITH UV-C LIGHT SOURCE
Technical Field
This invention relates to a portable smart disinfection box whit UV-C light source that can disinfect personal items used in daily life in detail in every environment and helps protect against diseases caused by small organisms that can be transmitted by contact.
Background of the Invention
In daily life, many unhygienic environments are entered and although we can maintain our personal hygiene, it is not so easy to keep some items clean. Since we always keep many items with bacteria and viruses on the surface with us, it is necessary to clean the items every day.
In the recent covid-19 virus epidemic that we have seen and faced, it is seen how important personal care and hygiene are. The new coronavirus (COVID-19) spread rapidly around the world and turned into a pandemic. We need to take care of both our personal hygiene and the hygiene of the areas we live, against microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria that we may encounter in daily life and cause diseases.
Emergence of many diseases are inevitable when cleaning rules are not followed. Cleaning practices should not be neglected to prevent diseases. In daily life, things are constantly touched and hands are taken to the mouth. For this reason, the whole body encounters many microorganisms in daily life. For these reasons, being clean and taking all precautions gives the person confidence and happiness first.
Some harmful microorganisms can live on the items for a few hours to a few days, depending on the type of material and the characteristics of the environment. For this reason, in addition to hand hygiene, the cleaning of daily used items in our environment is also very important. In the current situation, the purpose of cleaning
and disinfection applications is to clean the contaminated surfaces and neutralize the infectious agent. In order to protect against other respiratory viruses together with COVID-19, dirty surfaces are washed with water and soap/detergent if necessary, and then disinfected. However, disinfecting these items one by one causes a serious waste of time. It is very difficult to clean the personal items that are constantly used in the busy routine of daily life.
The invention is provided to sterilize the items that can be placed inside with UV-C LEDs. In this way, the items that are used daily and that we keep with us constantly and that have the risk of contamination that we come into contact with are protected against harmful factors such as dust, bacteria and viruses. It is a very useful box thanks to its ability to sterilize quickly by pressing the button. Within this invention, all of the personal items (pen, key chain, earring, ring, buckle, glasses, etc.) are placed disinfection process is carried out. Thus, the items remain sterile and are free of infectious microbes such as viruses and bacteria.
The invention is easy to carry and can be used as an accessory because its design is pleasant and useful.
The structural and characteristic specifications and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by the following figures and the detailed explanation written with reference to these figures, and therefore this evaluation should be carried out by taking these figures and detailed explanation into consideration.

Detailed Description of Invention
The invention consists of the body (1) and the lid (2) parts.
The invention consists of the parts of,
• the body (1) made of stainless-steel or aluminum material that connects with the lid (2) and enables the item placed inside to be disinfected with UV-C rays,
• a lid (2) that can be opened and closed and that can combine with the body (1) by turning; that containing a lithium battery (2.2) inside of it, and on-off button (2.1) and PCB board (2.3) with UV-C LED (2.4) on it,
- button (2.1) that helps the system to start or stop and control when pressed,
- at least 3 pieces of 3 volt lithium batteries (2.2) which are the power source for the operation of the electronic system,
- PCB board (2.3), which coordinates and controls the operation of the parts and enables the UV-C LED (2.4) to start or stop working when the button (2.1) is pressed,
- UV-C LED (2.4) used to disinfect the items placed in the system by preventing the proliferation and contamination of microorganisms by disrupting the DNA structure by irradiating in the UV-C wavelength range of 265-285 nm.
The system is activated by pressing the button (2.1) and becomes passive after the disinfection process. When the button (2.1) is pressed, a command is sent to the PCB (2.3) card and the UV-C LEDs (2.4) start to work.
The user can easily remove the lid (2) by turning it. The lid (2) is opened by turning it and the items to be disinfected are placed inside the body (1). When the button (2.1) on the lid is pressed, the PCB board (2.3) activates the system and thus the UV-C LED (2.4) is enabled. UV-C LED (2.4) works by taking power from batteries (2.2). Disinfection process takes 15-20 seconds manually.
In cases where the items want to be cleaned, the lid (2) is opened by turning it, the items are placed in the interior area of the body (1) and the lid (2) is closed again. Items placed with UV-C LED (2.4) are subjected to sterilization process. UV-C rays disrupt the DNA structure of viruses, allowing them to both reproduce and destroy completely. UV-C LED (2.4) is positioned as mounted on the PCB board (2.3) located inside the lower part of the lid (2). UV-C LED (2.4) is placed parallel to the surface. The technical and all other features mentioned in each claim are followed by a reference number, and these reference numbers are used only to facilitate understanding of the claims, therefore they should not be considered as limiting the scope of any of the elements indicated by these reference numbers for exemplary purposes.
