Abstract
Las realizaciones en la presente divulgan métodos y dispositivos para la gestión de residuos mediante el uso de un motor de categorización de objetos de residuos basado en inteligencia artificial. El método incluye la adquisición de al menos una imagen y la detección de al menos un objeto de desecho a partir de la al menos una imagen adquirida. Adicionalmente, el método determina que el al menos un objeto de desecho detectado coincide con un objeto de desecho prealmacenado e identifica un tipo del objeto de desecho detectado utilizando el objeto de desecho prealmacenado. Adicionalmente, el método incluye la visualización del tipo de objeto de desecho detectado basándose en la identificación.
