Abstract

Muchos fármacos y otras moléculas no pueden atravesar ordinariamente la barrera hematoencefálica (BBB). Sin embargo, cuando campos eléctricos alternos en ciertas frecuencias óptimas (por ejemplo, 100 kHz) se aplican al cerebro, la BBB se vuelve permeable a estas moléculas.
