Abstract
La presente invención proporciona sistemas y métodos para la captura directa de aire de dióxido de carbono u otros gases a través de un absorbente de calcio de una manera que permite una implementación a gran escala y de costo relativamente bajo. En particular, se puede proporcionar un absorbente de calcio como un recubrimiento sustancialmente delgado sobre uno o más sustratos y se puede utilizar para la captura directa de dióxido de carbono en el aire a través de la quimisorción.
