Abstract
Se describe un sistema de detección de fallas de transformador, en donde el transformador incluye un devanado primario acoplado a una línea eléctrica de voltaje medio y un devanado secundario que provee un voltaje reducido del voltaje medio. El sistema de detección incluye un dispositivo de conmutación, en donde el dispositivo de conmutación incluye un primer dispositivo de medición de voltaje para medir el voltaje en el devanado primario, un controlador para procesar los voltajes medidos y un transceptor para recibir y transmitir mensajes. El sistema de detección también incluye un segundo dispositivo de medición de voltaje para medir el voltaje reducido en el devanado secundario, en donde el segundo dispositivo de medición de voltaje incluye un transmisor para transmitir el voltaje reducido medido al dispositivo de conmutación. El controlador usa los voltajes medidos para calcular la proporción de vueltas del transformador (TTR) para determinar si hay fallas en el transformador.
