Abstract

Un aparato de detección detecta al menos una especie química en el sudor de un sujeto humano o animal, siendo al menos una especie química seleccionada del grupo que consiste de óxido de nitrógeno NO, ion nitrito NO2- y peróxido de hidrógeno H2O2. El aparato comprende un elemento de captación destinado a ser colocado en una zona de investigación de una epidermis del sujeto, y un dispositivo de detección que comprende al menos un circuito fluídico (9) acoplado al elemento de captación para dirigir al menos un flujo de sudor (12) desde la zona de investigación, y un sensor electroquímico (10) que comprende electrodos dispuestos en el circuito fluídico, estando el sensor electroquímico configurado para producir una señal que representa una concentración de al menos una especie química en el flujo de sudor y una señal que representa una velocidad de flujo del flujo de sudor.
