Abstract
Debido al rápido avance en la tecnología informática tanto del hardware como del software, el proceso de costura, que requiere mucha mano de obra, se ha transformado en un proceso automatizado que requiere mucha tecnología. Durante un proceso automático, el procesamiento de una pieza de trabajo puede monitorearse visualmente mediante el uso de un sistema de sensores. Los datos que se recogen del sistema de sensores pueden usarse para inferir la condición y/o la posición de la pieza de trabajo en el área de trabajo mediante el uso, por ejemplo, de modelos de un perfil del sensor. La evaluación puede llevarse a cabo antes de que comience el procesamiento, durante el procesamiento y/o después del procesamiento de la pieza de trabajo.
