Abstract

Un método de decodificación de imágenes de acuerdo con el presente documento comprende los pasos de: derivar información indicadora que indique si hay coeficientes válidos presentes en una segunda área excluyendo una primera área de la esquina superior izquierda del bloque actual; analizar sintácticamente un índice de MTS de un flujo de bits sobre la base de que la información indicadora indique la ausencia de coeficientes válidos en la segunda área; y derivar muestras residuales para el bloque actual aplicando un núcleo de conversión derivado sobre la base del índice de MTS a los coeficientes de conversión de la primera área, en donde la información indicadora puede derivarse determinando, para cada subbloque de escaneo en el que sean escaneados los coeficientes válidos, si los coeficientes válidos están presentes en la segunda área.
