Abstract
Un método de decodificación de imágenes de acuerdo con el presente documento comprende un paso de aplicar una transformación primaria inversa a un coeficiente de transformación para derivar muestras residuales para un bloque actual, en donde: la transformación primaria inversa se lleva a cabo sobre la base de un índice de MTS recibido de un flujo de bits; el índice de MTS se analiza sobre la base de un coeficiente efectivo que no existe en una segunda área que excluye la primera área superior izquierda del bloque actual; y la primera área es un área superior izquierda de 16X16 del bloque actual.
