Abstract
The present invention relates to various uses of the compound of titanium dioxide (TiO2) modified with organic functional groups, inorganic radicals, herbal, and fruit extracts adsorbed on its surface and pores. Said compound is effective as a disinfectant agent in a water-based suspension, bio-pesticidal, postharvest, preservative for preparing hygienic, cosmetic, and industrialized food products, inducer, and activator of tissue regeneration. Also, pathogenic microorganisms increase the proliferative response of the tissues in contact, conferring a healing or cell regeneration effect. Moreover, the pharmaceutical industry administers it through different systemic routes, treating and preventing infectious processes caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, spores, mycobacteria, and parasites. Additionally, it contains microbial agents mixed with water and antineoplastic to combat pathogenic microorganisms for dismantling the genetic chain, DNA or RNA. Further, it is beneficial as a microb ial agent in the livestock and aquaculture industry mixed with commercial foods, ingested by different species of animals, such as shrimp, birds, goats, and cattle.
