Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes con el que es posible suprimir una pérdida de información debido a la codificación y descodificación. Un coeficiente de cuantificación se somete a una cuantificación inversa usando un parámetro de cuantificación que depende de si se va a aplicar una omisión de transformada. Si no se va a aplicar una omisión de transformada, un coeficiente de transformada generado por una cuantificación inversa se somete a una transformada de coeficientes inversa, y se genera un residuo predicho que es un residuo entre una imagen y una imagen predicha de la imagen. Si se va a aplicar una omisión de transformada, se omite la transformada de coeficientes inversa. La presente divulgación es aplicable, por ejemplo, a dispositivos de procesamiento de imágenes, dispositivos de codificación de imágenes, dispositivos de descodificación de imágenes, dispositivos de transmisión, dispositivos de recepción, dispositivos de transmisión/recepción, dispositivos de procesamiento de información, dispositivos de formación de imágenes, dispositivos de reproducción, aparatos electrónicos, métodos de procesamiento de imágenes o métodos de procesamiento de información.
